Discover New Adventures

We believe the best family memories are made outdoors. That's why we create magical, down-to-earth adventures where children can explore, play and discover the countryside, while families spend quality time together.

Why Families Love High Lodge

  • “The grass pitch was large, big enough for our camper van and you could easily put a 4 man tent on. The kids area was a bonus, my Grandson had the best time running around. The glamping tent was amazing, so cosy. The bed was so comfy and warm. The shower was great. We all had a lovely time and will be coming back!”

  • “We had an absolutely fantastic time at the forest school session today. There was lots to keep my 3 year old busy and a snack van too. Very well organised and sign posted. We will be coming back. Thank you.”

    — Rudi Brodley, Little Explorers July 2026

  • “We love High Lodge! Whatever they have on we go as it’s always a good time out in fresh air without having to spend a fortune on food and drinks. Staff are great and friendly. Top spot for families in the Oxfordshire countryside.”

    — Emily Preston, 2026

  • “Myself and my daughter visit all the High Lodge events through the year. We love them all. The big bale climb is brilliant, lovely personal greeting and care with service. Delicious food and drinks from local business and awesome bale formation. My daughter and friends love playing hide and seek. Thank you for another fab visit to Team High Lodge.”

    — Lucy Colebrook, Big Bale Play 2026

  • “Awesome for the kids and so well thought out. Love the food options, buggy ride, covered areas to eat with benches and everything is gated. Such a reasonable price too. Thank you so much. My boy absolutely loved this trip today.“

    — Tamara Ravenscroft, 2026

  • “We had an amazing few days away with a group of around 25 people, and it was the perfect place for everyone. The location is beautiful, with stunning views, plenty of woodland to explore, and wide open fields with hay bales that the kids loved. The onsite food was delicious, and the whole site had everything we needed for a relaxing, fun camping trip. We'd definitely recommend it and can't wait to come back!”

Meet the sisters behind High Lodge

High Lodge Farm is run by four sisters – Emily, Katy, Lucy and Jess – whose family has been farming in South Oxfordshire for more than 100 years. Having grown up exploring fields and woodlands, we're passionate about sharing the countryside with the next generation.

As mums ourselves, we know the value of fresh air, muddy wellies and outdoor adventure. That's why we create seasonal events that bring families together and help children connect with nature, from Easter trails and Big Bale Play to pumpkin picking, woodland play sessions and summer camping.

Alongside our events, we're committed to caring for the land through regenerative farming and the sustainable management of our fields and ancient woodlands, ensuring this special place can be enjoyed for generations to come.
