Easter Adventure Trail 2026
Tickets coming soon
Are you ready for an Easter adventure?
Spring has finally arrived at High Lodge Farm. Flowers are waking up, birds are singing… and deep in the woodland, a little egg called Eddie is about to have a big day.
Eddie isn't like other eggs. He doesn't want to stay in his egg box. He wants an adventure! But as Eddie rolls out into the woods, he realises something… all the other eggs are busy doing very important spring jobs!
Pick up an activity sheet and join Eddie on his woodland adventure as he learns what sort of egg he wants to be, and meet all sorts of eggy characters along the way…
Don't forget to complete the woodland challenges and solve the Easter anagram! Look for the letter at each stop. Collect your free chocolate on the way home.
Tickets include woodland trail and activity sheet, Play Patch access with garden games, sandpit, straw bales, farm tractor, ride-on toys, mud kitchen and lots more! Barrel train rides around the farm are extra (£3pp).
The trail promises back-to-basics farm fun, tonnes of fresh air and probably a fair bit of mud… please dress appropriately.

FAQs
1. When is the Easter Adventure Trail open?
The Easter Trail is running over the Easter holidays 2026. Gates open at 10am and the last entry is at 3pm.
2. How do I book tickets?
Tickets will be on sale here in February. Book in advance for the best price. Gate tickets are more expensive and can’t be guaranteed.
3. Do you offer refunds?
Tickets are non-refundable. This is an all-weather trail, so no refunds will be given unless we have to cancel the event for safety reasons.
4. Can I change the date/time of my tickets?
If you create an account when booking, you can log-in and move your tickets to another date, subject to availability.
5. What if I am late for my session?
Don't worry if you're a bit early or late for your slot. The sessions are to roughly manage the flow of people on site.
6. What are the opening hours?
The trail will be open daily between 10am and 5pm with the last entry at 3pm. Our SEN sessions (selected dates only) begin at 9am.
7. Where are you based?
Please use this postcode to find us: OX14 3BN.
High Lodge Farm is based at Culham, near Abingdon - not the farm of the same name in Chipping Norton! The field runs parallel to the A415 Abingdon Road. It is roughly 0.4 mile from the Europa School and the entrance will be well signposted.
7. Where do we park?
There’s plenty of free parking in our grass field just off the A415 Abingdon Road. If it’s been raining, please take care entering and exiting the site and expect mud.
8. How long will the trail take to complete?
The trail is approximately 1.2km long and will take approximately 45 minutes if you stop to enjoy the challenges along the way.
9. What age is the trail suitable for?
Everyone! Toddlers and primary-aged children will love spotting our woodland creations, clambering over the logs, playing in the dens and working out our forest games. Older children will enjoy the woodland challenges, cracking the secret code word and bale play area.
10. Are there refreshments available?
Our refreshment trailer The Toot will be selling coffee, tea, hot chocolate, brownies, Easter cookies, flapjacks, ice cream and cold drinks. The Tasty Toot will be selling burgers, chips, hot dogs and breakfast baps.
11. Do you take card and cash?
Cash and card payments are taken everywhere on site.
12. What should I wear?
Trainers or wellies and trousers. The farm gets muddy quickly if it’s rained and scratchy straw and long grass can irritate little legs. Puddle-suits are a good idea for little ones. The ground is uneven in places and the woodland is on a slope. We are not liable for any trips or falls.
13. Is High Lodge Farm under cover?
This is an outdoor, open-air event. There will be an open-sided tent in the games and refreshment area with picnic tables to shelter if it rains.
14. Is the trail buggy friendly?
Yes, if it’s not rained recently. A sturdy, all-terrain buggy should make it through the woods.
15. What is the disabled access like?
Wheelchair users won’t make it through the woods because the ground is uneven and on a slope, but our large, flat grassy refreshment and games area at the base of the wood is accessible. Please ask our staff if you require assistance.
16. Are there toilets and baby-changing facilities on sight?
There will be basic temporary toilets on site, with one accessible toilet and a baby-changing station. There will be a separate hand-washing area too.
17. Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed.
